One of the DSS on the platform is actual for the coming period, the one for Barley Yellow Dwarf Virus in winter wheat and winter barley. The DSS is developed in the UK, and is considered applicable, but not yet validated, in Belgium, Luxembourg, Netherlands, France, Germany, Rep. Ireland and Denmark.
We are looking for advisors/farmers that use, or are willing to test, the DSS for their farm/clients and use their experiences for platform promotion. When you consider to use this DSS, please make sure that the parameters in the DSS are correct: date of crop emergence as start date for the DSS and insecticide applications (if any) are important for correct output.
